3. Tamil Nadu

4. Delhi

  • A wedding is limited to 20 guests.
  • Only at-home and court weddings are permitted.

5. Maharashtra

  • A wedding can only have 50 persons in attendance.

6. Rajasthan

The maximum number of guests which are allowed at a wedding is 100. 7. Madhya Pradesh

In Indore, 50 people are allowed to attend the wedding, whereas, in Bhopal, just 40 people are allowed. Previously, just 12 guests were permitted in Indore and 20 in Bhopal. A nighttime curfew is in effect, which begins at 11 p.m. and concludes at 5 a.m.

However, authorities stressed that social distancing standards must be maintained during ceremonies and that arrangements must be made to avoid spreading the virus. A wedding can have a maximum of 250 guests.

8. Karnataka

According to the state government’s Unlock-2 instructions, there would be a complete lockdown throughout Karnataka on five Sundays from July 5 to August 12. The rule exempts essential activities and marriages scheduled on this day. As a result, marriages that have previously been fixed are permitted.

In addition, the number of guests at wedding-related parties should not exceed 50 to prevent the transmission of coronavirus. Karnataka has so far recorded 44,077 births and 842 deaths, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Taking all of this into account, the Punjab government issued a blanket ban on all public gatherings on Monday. In addition, social events are now limited to five people. All Chandigarh wedding venues, banquet halls, and marriage ceremony locations may operate at 50% capacity. There is a nighttime curfew in all districts at 10 p.m. and ends at 5 a.m.
