Winter Skin Care: Homemade Face Packs

Winters are always the favorite season. They bring in the cold breeze, carrying the aromatic essence of fruits and flowers. To be under the blanket is the favorite laziness of all. But with winters, there come the harsh winds which affect our skin and face. Here are a few winter Skin Care tips to beat the winter harshness on your skin and face. Here I will teach a few recipes for a Homemade Face Pack with some simple ingredients that we can get at our home. So, here we begin.

Why Should We Take Care of Our Skin in the Winter?

As I have already said, winters make our skin dry by taking all the skin moisture. Your face looks just like a wilted flower. So, you end up looking dull and aged. So, to keep your skin young and tight, you need to have good moisturizing face packs. If you buy face packs from markets, they will cost you so much money. And you have to deal with a lot of chemicals. So, the best way to have your winter skincare is to have homemade face packs with really chemical-free ingredients.

How Should We Take Care of Our Skin in Winter?

Before going to the homemade face packs, the winter Skin Care tips include many things. Here are a few winter skin care tips that you should do every day, along with the face packs.

1. Drink Ample Water-

We mostly skip out water intake in winters. But let us not get swayed away by the cold. The body needs water to keep us hydrated. This will prevent dryness of the skin.

2. Include all the Citrus Fruits in Your Diet-

Winters bring with them many fruits, including oranges, kinks, lemons, mousiest, etc. So add these to your diets either in fruit salads or juices. This gives the skin the right glow.

3. Exercise Daily-

Do not get lazy with winters. Do some physical exercises for about 30 minutes a day. This will enhance blood circulation and proper functioning of the body and will tone your skin. You can take a walk, or you may practice yoga as well.

4. Skip all the Junk-

Even though the winter might tempt you for some hot and spicy food made with a lot of oil, please keep yourself away from it because this will affect your skin. They have adverse effects on the skin.

5. Use Sunscreen-

Even though it is winter and you may face less sunlight, do not skip your sunscreen. Otherwise, it may dull your skin if you expose it directly to the sunlight and make your skin tan.

6. Apply a Moisturizer-

Always apply a good moisturizer to your skin. The nights are the best to apply the moisturizer as it helps the skin repair itself, and the skin is at rest to let the moisturizer do its job.
